FEL Motorsports Season 4
FEL Motorsports
2024
Race tracks in Ontario and Quebec
Season 4 of FEL Motorsports contributed greatly to the momentum which the professional racing platform had built in its previous 3 years. The Sports Car Championship Canada presented by Michelin (SCCC) again appeared at two of Canada’s premier motorsports events – the Ontario Honda Dealers Indy Toronto and the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières. The Emzone Radical Cup Canada presented by Michelin (RCC) returned to the Streets of Toronto with the Radical Cup North America where it smashed the international Radical Motorsports grid record when 39 cars took the green flag for Friday afternoon's race. Beyond the racetrack there was no shortage of excitement surrounding FEL Motorsports in its 4th season. The platform welcomed multiple new partners including Advanced SimRacing and Omologato Watches -– who both contributed significantly to the competitor prizing package – and REV TV, where fans can watch re-broadcasts of their favourite SCCC and RCC races.
2024 was another year where FEL Motorsports further advanced the two main tenets that brought it into existence, giving back to Canadian motorsports and providing a legitimate stepping stone for up-and-coming talent
Regarding the former, FEL Motorsports distributed over six figures in prize money, performance-based prizing and giveaway items. Regarding the latter, FEL Motorsports was proud to see its 2023 TCR Class Champion, Dean Baker, compete in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge; its 2023 Emzone RCC Champion, Jake Cowden, complete a full season in the SRO GT4 America series; and its 2022 GT4 Class Champion, Zachary Vanier, take 3 wins, 7 podiums and finish third in the Pro class standings in his first Porsche Carrera Cup North America campaign; in addition, current TCR competitor, Megan Tomlinson competed in the third round of the TCR World Tour, and the 2024 FIA Motorsports Games in Valencia.
